ADVANCED SOCCER PROGRAM |
OVERVIEW:
|
The
mission of the FC Cary Advanced Soccer Program (ASP) is to provide an
environment for youth players in the U08-U10 age groups to develop
their soccer skills in preparation for playing at the most competitive
youth levels. The program has a unique blend of individual skill
development and competitive matches to provide an environment where
each player can maximize their potential. Our partnership with
Next Level Academy, the premier skills development program in the area,
provides the individual skills focus through a proven program that has
helped develop many of the most successful players in our area
today. Additionally, partnerships with CASL and Triangle United ,
two highly successful classic organizations, provide our players with
an opportunity to compete against some of the best local players. |
U08 ASP TRAINING POOL:
|
The
U08 ASP Training Pool is an introduction to advanced soccer through
additional training that supports the players recreational
experience. Each player in this program must register for the FC
Cary U08 recreational league and participates in their team's practices
and games. But, this player pool will also train one extra day a
week for six weeks during the season with ASP staff coaches.
This additional training session will focus on individual skill
development and building each player's abilities and confidence.
Additionally, each training session will incorporate competitive games
to provide the players an opportunity to apply the skills that have
been learned into game situations. We believe this program
provides the blend of fun and development that these young players need
to prepare for our U09-U10 Advanced Soccer Program.
Costs:

The
cost per player is $100 per training pool session. In addition,
all players are required to register for the FC Cary Recreational
League ($80 Registration Fee).

U09 & U10 ASP:
|
The

FC Cary ASP teams train twice a week. One session per week is conducted
indoors at NetSports Center with NLA staff and FC Cary ASP staff with an
individual skill development focus. The second training during the week is
team training conducted by your FC Cary ASP Coach.
Teams will be tiered within each age group to promote development for all players within the program.
ASP teams will play matches primarily with teams from the
Triangle United YDA program, the CASL YTS program, and the FC Cary
Advanced Soccer Program. Additional matches may be scheduled with
other organizations, as needed.
FC Cary ASP Teams participate in the
NC Champions League (US Club Soccer).
