Advanced Soccer Program

Overview:

The mission of the FC Cary Advanced Soccer Program (ASP) is to provide an environment for youth players in the U08-U10 age groups to develop their soccer skills in preparation for playing at the most competitive youth levels.  The program has a unique blend of individual skill development and competitive matches to provide an environment where each player can maximize their potential.  Our partnership with Next Level Academy, the premier skills development program in the area, provides the individual skills focus through a proven program that has helped develop many of the most successful players in our area today.  Additionally, partnerships with CASL and Triangle United , two highly successful classic organizations, provide our players with an opportunity to compete against some of the best local players.

Programs: The Advanced Soccer Program has two programs.  The U08 ASP Training Pool is an introduction to advanced soccer through additional training that supports the players recreational experience.  While the U09 & U10 Advanced Soccer Program provides an environment for youth players to develop their soccer skills in preparation for playing at the most competitive youth levels.  For more information on each program, please visit their program pages.

Classic Soccer Partners

CAPITAL AREA SOCCER LEAGUE TRIANGLE UNITED SOCCER ASSOCIATION

The Capital Area Soccer League is home to over 20,000 players, coaches, officials, parents, volunteers, and supporters.  CASL is a non-profit corporation established in 1974 and is the largest club in North Carolina with over 800 teams. The club serves the greater Raleigh area and its youth from ages 4 to 18 at all levels of play.

Character - Success - Attitude- Love of the game

Established in 1974, the mission of Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) is to provide instructional and competitive youth soccer opportunities that enhance character, community and love of the game of soccer. Integrating in this is the building of self-esteem, self-confidence, team work, respect for self and others and all the inherent benefits of physical exercise.

The Capital Area Soccer League is completely committed to reinforce the value of character development and responsible behavior through continuous education of all involved. It is the pride of CASL to have all its members (players, parents, coaches, volunteers and staff) exemplify the highest standard of conduct, so that our youth and community bare witness to the enjoyment of sport and teamwork.

Through all this, CASL has been able to establish a Groundbreaking U.S. Youth Soccer Initiative with Chelsea FC.  Chelsea FC Chief Executive Peter Kenyon said: “Our new Chelsea youth super club network is the latest of many strategic projects Chelsea have in the U.S.  They are all designed to assist the growth and development of US soccer at the grass roots as well as the top level. The youth movement in the United States is a massive part of that.  CASL is clearly one of the leading American youth football clubs and I am delighted they are the first to become part of this project.  We will be working with them to support player coaching and development and this will be beneficial for both organizations.”

Triangle United Soccer Association was formed in 2005 to provide soccer opportunities for all players in the Triangle area. Our mission for Triangle United is to provide all families a positive, healthy, progressive environment for youth development through soccer in our community.

Our relationship with FC Cary has grown through the NC Champions League and the partnership we have developed; this partnership has provided playing opportunities for all players in the Triangle area.

Triangle United has developed Classic and Challenge teams that train and play games in the Cary/Apex/Raleigh areas. We understand the logistics of training locations and we as a club try to provide not only convenient training locations, but also some of the highest quality coaches that work with our players.

As we move into the 2009-2010 season, we will look to field Challenge and Classic teams in the U11 and U12 age groups, both boys and girls, that train and play in the Cary/Apex area.  Tryouts begin the week of May 18th and for more information on our coaching staff as well as our tryout information, please go to this link: http://www.triangleunited.org/home/325447.html
